I have a solution for you but the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System item # DM55MV is designed to work with Tiffin chassis motorhomes that come with factory air brakes made after 2020. Your 2017 won't be compatible because it doesn't have the built in reserve tank.

Hey Chad, so unfortunately there is not a way to use the EZ hook safety cables with a Direct-Connect base plate like the # RM-521453-5. The EZ hook safety cables are only compatible with the EZ Hook Safety Cable Anchors # RM-910653, and these anchors are only compatible with the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style base plate. Your best platform bike rack for spare clearance is the RV Rider part # HLY64FR as it has the most clearance between the hitch pin hole and the wheel trays. This has 12 inches from the pin hole to the pivoting portion of the rack but then has even more clearance out to the center of the wheel trays where the bikes would be located which would be what would potentially interfere with the spare so based on that this would work well and be your best option. view full answer...
